What is your Returns Policy?

At 808 Life we have a dedicated customer support team and we'll do our best to help you.

  • You can return any unopened item within 14 days of receiving your order once you have emailed the team at support@808life.com.au so we can lodge this return and give you a Return Form. If you purchase an item and it's defective (e.g. a vinyl record with a scratch) you can return the item after opening it and will be issued a full refund as per the original form of payment or store credit to the original email that you provided, you're choice. An Item must be returned in its original packaging. 808 Life does not offer cash refunds for change of mind.

  • Returned items are your responsibility until they reach the 808 Life warehouse, so please make sure it's packed and addressed properly. If items are damaged or lost on the way back to our warehouse, we can not reimburse you in any way for this, but we do our best to locate the item.

How do I place an order?

  • When you see an item you like, click on "Add to Cart" and continue shopping until you are ready to complete your purchase. Then, click on the Shopping Cart, located at the top right section of the screen. Click "Checkout" or "Checkout with PayPal" below to confirm your purchase. After you have entered your delivery and payment information, click on "Continue". After double checking your order information one last time click "Finalise Payment".

How do I track my item?

  • We offer free standard shipping with Australia Post and USPS International. Your package should reach you within 3 weeks of placing the order. If you're not around when delivery is attempted, the driver will leave a calling card telling you how you can collect your 808 Life order.

  • Your order will be delivered between 7am and 7pm. As Australia Post do not deliver on public holidays, you can expect your order on the next business day.

  • If your address is incorrect (for example wrong postcode, street or house number) 808 Life will charge you an additional $10 for shipping fees as we will have to resend these parcels.

    How do I exchange or refund an item?

    • 808 Life does not offer exchanges or cash refunds for change of mind under the Australian Consumer Law. If the item is faulty or is damaged in any way, please contact us at support@808life.com.au and we will look after you.

    • For Returned Merchandise made with a coupon or classified in the Sales Category – a $10 charge will be incurred if a satchel is not included with the Returned Merchandise.

    • Returns take 3-7 business days to reach us. Once received, your items will be processed within 14 days. We cannot confirm when the package has arrived so please use your personal tracking to confirm the return.

    When will I get my Credit Coupon?

    • Once your Returned Merchandise is processed - an email will be immediately sent out. Please make sure that the email that you have on your account is correct otherwise you will not get your coupon. Our coupons have a 6-month expiry period from the date that they're made.

    • Coupons cannot be used in conjunction with any other special codes offered by 808 Life. Store credit can only be used once and residual Credit will be void. Remaining credits will not be refunded due to shipping restrictions.

    Why do I not have my order yet? (Buy Early and Pre-order)

    • At 808 Life we know that a lot of artists only print a limited number of their albums on vinyl, so we offer a 'Buy Early' option when a new album is about to drop to make sure our customers don't miss out. We always try out best to list these items as clearly as possible and include an 'Estimated Arrival Date' in the description and on checkout.

    • If your Order Status hasn't been changed to shipped by the Estimated Arrival Date, please contact support@808life.com.au so that we can notify you about your parcel's status.

    Shipping

     Domestic Shipping

    • For all Domestic Orders, 808 Life uses Australia Post's standard shipping service. As we often import items, shipping can take up to 4 weeks. All orders ordered before 2pm Australia Eastern Standard Time will be shipped on the same day.

    • Domestic shipping is free for orders over $75, and $9.95 for orders under $75.

      International Shipping

    • For international orders, shipping time varies between 3 days and 4 weeks depending on what country the item is imported from and the country being delivered to. We use DHL Global Mail Express Shipping for all International Orders.

    • International shipping is free for orders over $75, and $9.95 for orders under $75.

    • Our carriers deliver during normal business working hours and may require a signature on receipt. We suggest that your order is delivered to a work address rather than a home address.

    • Any customs or import duties are charged once the order reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the order. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

    Has my order been successful?

    • All orders apart from Buy Early merchansie made before AEST 2pm will be sent on that respective day.

    How do I use 808 Life Store Credit?

    • Store credit is issued in the form of a voucher code via email. When placing an order, redeem the voucher code on the Payment page to have the store credit amount deducted from your order value. All store credit coupons can only be used once and residual credit will not be refunded in another coupon. Coupons cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional codes.

    What if my item is faulty?

    • We aim to provide our customers with products of the highest standard and quality. If you received an item with a manufacturing fault, our Customer Service team will help resolve the problem as fast as possible. Please help us by providing a photo or two showing the defect/fault as well as the order number, which will speed up the returns process.
