About Us

Started as pop-up stalls selling vinyl around Sydney (known as 808 Life),  The Artifice has grown to become a leading Australian retailer of vinyl records.

We noticed that even though everyone streams their music now, a lot of people still want a physical copy of great albums, old and new. So we got in touch with some record labels and found that most of them still produce at least a limited number of their artists' albums on vinyl, and started importing and selling them.

We hope to one day raise enough money to start our own vinyl record printing press in Sydney and every record sold gets us closer to our goal.
